The Inter-University Soccer Tournament began on Friday at the PNG University of Technology, with seven universities participating: Divine Word University, University of PNG, University of Goroka, Pacific Adventist University, Institute of Business Studies, University of Natural Resources and Environment, and the host PNG University of Technology. Executive Officer of Sports at Unitech and Interim President of PNG University Sports Association, Harry Chapau, emphasized the event’s goal to foster unity and friendship among universities. This marks the tournament’s return after a decade, with matches concluding on June 24th.
